“State regulators may decide as soon as Thursday if an electric transmission line project, placing many miles of service wires across Michigan, can move forward – a decision that could leave farmers and property owners in the project path with few options to halt the expansion.

Meanwhile, an attorney representing some of those landowners has been actively advising them to not sign what he called bad deals conveying property rights to the company involved.”
